Acorn Paper is different from most packaging distributors of any size because it is vertically integrated. In addition to its packaging supply business it also has a manufacturing division. Its manufacturing division is a corrugated sheet plant that manufactures corrugated boxes of different styles.
The fact that Acorn is vertically integrated is an advantage for its customers. Owning a corrugated manufacturing division affords Acorn a very high level of control of production. Because we produce corrugated packaging in our own facility, we have more control over quality, production scheduling, and meeting unique customer requirements. Other packaging distributors often have to rely on an outside supplier to produce custom packaging.
Acorn's manufacturing division can produce plain or printed corrugated boxes. Whether you are looking for an RSC style box, a die cut mailer, or a point of purchase display we have the capability to run many of the most common box styles. Our sheet plant staff can also work with your Acorn sales representative to advise customers on packaging design and provide samples. We run a flexo-folder gluer, and well as both flat and rotary die cutters, and other machinery used in corrugated manufacturing.
Tours of both the manufacturing and distribution facilities are available. Your Acorn sales representative can provide more information. The manufacturing facility is located in Santa Fe Springs, California, only minutes from our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.
